The Evergreen Alumni Club of Seattle was officially installed by Phi Kappa Tau Foundation
Executive Vice President and new NIC President Bill Jenkins on the 95th Anniversary of Phi Kappa Tau. The event, held on Founder's
Day, March 17th 2001, was attended by alumni and undergrads representing 10 chapters nationwide and their wives and girlfriends.
We certainly have a great and diverse group of gentlemen and look forward to you joining us in an activity soon!
Although
our monthly meetings will be for Phi Taus only, we have many options for activities for the whole family including Mariner's
games, picnics and barbeques, ski trips, and anything else that will get us a group discount. Plan to join us at our next
meeting to share stories with brothers you haven't seen for awhile and meet Phi Taus from across the country.
Monthly Gatherings
The Evergreen Club meets on the Third Thursday of every month
at Jillian's Billiard's Club on Lake Union at 7:30 PM. They are located at 731 Westlake Avenue North, just a couple blocks
north of Mercer.
Apple Cup Tailgater - 11/22/03
Saturday, November 22nd
Montlake Parking Lot (E1)
North of Husky Stadium
3 hours prior to kick-off
The Evergreen Club will once again be hosting an Apple Cup tailgater in the tailgating lot, E1, along Montlake Boulevard
north of Husky Stadium. We are expecting a large turn out of both undergraduates and alumni from both the Alpha Kappa
Chapter and Alpha Pi Colony. We'll provide the grills and even some brats/buns, but feel free to bring your favorite
grillable items and your beverages of choice.
We'll start about 3 hours before kick-off and will have as much Phi Tau items visible as possible. We'll also have
a string of Red and Gold balloons sailing above our location which should be visible from any part of the lot. Those
of us without tickets will be hanging around beyond kick-off, so don't let that stop you from coming by. See you then!
